I don’t like rap. And then, rapping about a little girl’s show is… a whole different thing. I’m like “wtf are you doing.” They also seem to be total pricks.
Miu, however, does not rap, has a great voice (female too, which is a lot better than male singing… seeing as all the singing in the actual show is done by females…). This video here is a Disney cover, and is concentrated diabetes.
I’ve already posted her cover of WANT IT NEED IT, which is quite chilling. The best thing about that song is that she REALLY captures the lyrics in there, and doesn’t fall into the standard “Female singer, therefore cute, girly, and pretty”.
She only has a few pony-related songs, but a lot of other things (24 vids total). Definitely worth looking at (I demand it).

Been on 4chan’s /mlp/ a lot. Never used to go on 4chan. It gets a bad rap from people that don’t understand how they’re supposed to interpret the many, many posts on there.

and that’s about all I know that I know.
Anyway, it’s certainly made me realize a few things. Such as the reality of what I’m looking it. I used to follow Slugbox. The porn entertained me, at best. Now, I see it as “I am following some dude with a shitty OC that posts bizarre porn of a girl’s show all the fucking time. Why?” So unfollow. Same with Skoon and all his sub-blogs. Don’t care if they’re good at drawing or if they’re even slightly funny, advertising that you ejaculate onto plastic figures of cartoon ponies means I’m staying the hell away from you. All in all I unfollowed two hundred or so people, and it felt right.
Then I looked at myself. I’m 250 lbs at 6’0” (ie. fat). Fuck that shit, I play TF2 for five hours a day, DDO on every other day, just sitting here hoping for some entertainment. BLEH. I have a treadmill downstairs that’s covered in my dead grandparents’ junk. Might still work. I’m told that if I lose 70 lbs, and gain a healthy weight after six years of being rather fat, I’ll feel like nothing else. That’s an actual achievement, not getting my Strange Medigun to 1K ubers or some shit.
And then there’s this blog.

I have 84 followers, I bet only 10 are paying attention, and chances are if I continue posting like I do now, you won’t end up listening to anything new, learning of/following a good artist, or adding anything to your song collection.
So that leaves me with a choice: delete the blog, or give it some actual fucking purpose. Maybe find some excellent, under the radar musicians and spotlight them? Would you like that?
